The Loop in Ormond Beach, Florida is a scenic drive that loops in a circle around the Intracoastal Waterway. This scene is a composite of several views around the loop to illustrate the topographies found here. Many waterfowl such as woodstorks, white ibis, white herons, blue herons, kingfishers and cormorants live in the Loop. The Pacific white pelican winters here. The tall native palm on the left is a Florida sabal palm. The native sawgrass grows on the slightly higher elevations surrounded by brackish water.
